Factory Tour: How Your Advertising Flags Are Made
Inside the factory: how advertising flags are printed, cut, sewn, checked and packed in our Foshan workshop, step by step.
Our workshop sits in the Caochang Industrial Zone, Lishui, Nanhai, Foshan, Guangdong. Everything in this page happens under one roof: artwork preparation, dye sublimation printing, cutting, sewing, quality checks, pole assembly and export packing. Visitors are welcome by appointment, and buyers who cannot travel can follow production through photographs and video at each stage.

Step 1: Artwork and Colour Approval
1. Your file arrives as vector (.ai, .eps, .pdf) or raster at 1:1 scale and 300 dpi. 2. We lay it out on the correct template for the flag size, keeping critical elements inside the safe zone and out of the pole sleeve. 3. A proof goes back for approval, and colour is matched against Pantone or RAL references with a printed swatch signed off before printing starts.
Step 2: Dye Sublimation Printing
1. The design is printed to transfer paper. 2. Fabric is pressed against the paper at roughly 190 to 210 degrees Celsius for one to two minutes. 3. The heat turns the ink to gas and bonds it inside the polyester fibres, which is why the print cannot crack or peel, and why a single-sided flag reads through to the reverse at about 90% show-through. Standard fabric is 110gsm knitted polyester, with 115gsm, 130gsm and mesh available.
Step 3: Cutting and Sewing
1. Printed panels are cut to the exact size, with the pole sleeve and hem allowances marked from the template. 2. Sleeves are folded and stitched, top corners are reinforced because they carry the highest load, and edges are double stitched. 3. Double-sided flags are built as two printed layers with a light-blocking liner between them, sewn so both faces read correctly.
Step 4: Quality Checks
1. Colour is compared against the approved swatch under standard light. 2. Dimensions are measured against the size chart, and seams are inspected for skipped stitches and puckering. 3. On double-sided flags we check layer alignment and show-through, and on every order we check the pole sleeve depth against the pole it will carry.
Step 5: Poles, Bases and Packing
1. Pole sections are assembled and test-fitted to the sleeve; fibreglass tips are checked for the correct curve. 2. Bases are matched to the order: spike, cross, heavy cross, metal plate, car base or water tank. 3. Flags are folded and packed flat, poles bundled by length and bases in their own cartons, with photographs of the packed goods sent before the balance is due.

Q2. Can we follow production remotely?
Yes. We send photographs and video at artwork approval, first print, sewing, QC and packing, so overseas buyers can approve each stage without travelling.
Q3. What fabric and printing do you use?
110gsm knitted polyester with dye sublimation printing is standard, with 115gsm, 130gsm shiny and mesh available. Single-sided and double-sided builds are both produced in house.
Q4. How do you check quality?
Colour against the approved swatch, dimensions against the size chart, seam inspection, double-sided layer alignment, and a pole fit test before packing.
